Derek Hough was positive about coronavirus.
The 36-year-old judge “Dancing With the Stars” shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday.
“Hey everyone, I have some news to share, and I wanted you to hear it straight from me,” he began in his video message. “Although I was fully vaccinated, I was recently diagnosed with a new case of COVID – just found out.”
He said that at present, he feels “strong” but adheres to the advice of medical professionals and “does everything I can to improve as quickly as possible.”

“I’m currently in quarantine, and I’ll make sure I keep you all up to date on what’s going on, but I just wanted to send a lot of love to you all,” the star continued. “Stay safe.”
In the caption of his post, Hough explained that his shows in Las Vegas, which were scheduled for this week, will be postponed to a later date.
The multihifenate received some support from its co-stars in the comments.

“Feel better love !!” wrote Jenna Dewan.
Amy Purdy, who had previously partnered with Hough when she competed on “Dancing With the Stars,” also left a sweet message.
“Sending you love and healing thoughts!” she wrote. “Get well soon, friend.”

The 30th season of “Dancing With the Stars” will end with a final episode on November 22nd. A spokesman for the show told Fox News that more information on the situation will be announced soon.
Earlier this fall, Hough was excluded from a week of his court duties after possible exposure to COVID-19.
