One-month-old staff cross Jay Jay was caught in the early hours of Sunday morning. Then on Monday night, dognappers pinched his sister, Sun.
It is believed that the alleged thieves neglected Jay and Sun’s parents before shaking the chicks.
The hired cross puppies were born to keep dogs at Malaga Automotive Service and are part of a larger litter.
The calculated and cruel robbery destroyed the owners and affected the mother of the stolen dogs, Ace.
“She ate nothing,” the owner of the puppy Nasisch told 9News, who asked to be referred only by her first name.
“We tried different foods for her, we took her out. But she didn’t eat.”
In an offer to protect Sun Nasisch tried to get her microchipped early, but by the time the appointment rolled around it was too late.
They want the chicks back and are willing to pay any price as a reward.
“We just need them to come back,” Nasisch said.
