Drake apparently spent $ 1M at a strip club after an Astroworld tragedy

One day after rapper Drake performed at the tragic Astroworld festival in Houston – during which nine people were trampled – he apparently drowned his sorrows by showering strippers with money, according to social media.

The Canadian rapper left about $ 1 million on the floor of the Area 29 strip club in Houston, according to Toronto’s BlogTo.

Ecstatic women are seen collecting the cash on November 9 in a social media video posted by the rapper’s friend, DJ Akademiks. When a man urged them to say, “Thank you, Drake,” everyone said in unison, “Thank you Drake!”

Since then a deleted poster from the club acquired by The Sun has also noted Drake’s presence, citing his Instagram handle @champagnepapi.

“Thank you @champagnepapi @roddyricch @dontoliver @ ubk.ent @lira_galore @realberniceburgos @realamarie @kayykilo @turkeyleghut @bookedbymolo last night’s vibes were on point GRAND FINAL TONIGHT SUNDAY FUNDAY,” the club wrote.

Drake needed three days to publish his first public remarks on the “destructive tragedy” at Scott’s Astroworld Festival.

“I’ve spent the last few days trying to wrap my mind around this devastating tragedy,” he wrote on Instagram next to a picture of himself kneeling in prayer.

Travis Scott, who also performed at the Scott’s Astroworld Festival, was reportedly in tears and lying low with Kylie Jenner, who is expecting her second child with Scott.

Drake is a regular at the club and probably also visited in the days before the tragedy.
