Ye briefly alluded to the comments he made about Taylor Swift during the 2009 VMA, stating that he “made a personal exile” in Japan after the incident because “all of America hated” him. Elsewhere in the interview he mentioned talking to Trump on the phone about A $ AP Rocky imprisoned in Sweden. He also said that after his visit in 2018 with Trump, the then president told him, “Yes, my friend, my Black approval rating increased 40% when you came to the White House.”

Elsewhere in the interview, he discussed his mental health and bipolar disorder diagnosis, his relationship with Kim Kardashian West, and more. At times, he declared himself “the king of culture.” He also compared himself to Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

On the first episode of his time above Drink Champions, West discussed a wide range of topics — including Donda, abolish culture, welfare, religion and abortion — finally. After another edition of Sunday Service, West said he wanted to end his long-running feud with Drake, inviting him to appear at an event in support of Hoover.
