The 28-year-old social media “lives” at her mother Julia’s house “the last few weeks” as she navigates new ground in their relationship.

Batsheva and Ben recently found fame in Netflix’s My Unorthodox Life, a miniseries focused on the lives of an Orthodox Jewish family and their non-religious lifestyle after leaving the strict community to seek fashionable life in Manhattan.

In a question and answer shared to her YouTube channel in August, they both discussed the difficulties around marriage.

‘I’m not sorry to marry young because I married, but I wouldn’t recommend marrying young,’ said Ben, as Batesheva agreed.

‘I never like to say I’m sorry for anything in my life, but if circumstances were to happen again, I certainly wouldn’t get married so young,’ she added. ‘Getting married at 19 is too young.’

He noted the importance of “establishing your own independence” both as a person and as a couple.

‘Try to do as many things as you can on your own,’ he said. ‘Try to spend so much time on your own together, cooking dinner with each other, doing your own thing to establish your own independence and try not to start your relationship depending on other people.’

He also noted: ‘No one’s perfect wedding advice is ideal for everyone.’
