School buses will also run at full capacity. All passengers must wear face masks at all times.

To enter university housing, individuals must be vaccinated against COVID-19. Those with medical exceptions should provide a negative PCR test weekly.

Under the new rules, parents of students will also be allowed to attend events and activities at educational institutions, provided they have a PCR test 96 hours in advance and wear a face mask at any event.

An NCEMA spokesman, via Twitter, praised schools across the country for helping contribute to a reduced prevalence of the virus in the UAE.
